About the Foundation
Established in 2017, The Sagamore Hills Foundation is a parent-led 501(c)(3) nonprofit that raises funds to enhance the educational experience for every student and staff member in our school. The Foundation was originally established to fund a complete renovation of the school's playground, which is successfully did in the Fall of 2018. This initial project, dreamed of and funded by the both the school and neighborhood community, was a huge success and highlighted the need for this nonprofit.
Other notable projects of the Foundation have been new blinds throughout the school, sound equipment for our stage, the revitalization of our school garden and ongoing grounds beautification, laptop charging stations for classrooms, and a robust Lexile Library for targeted literacy instruction.
The Foundation continues to bridges the gap between our school budget and the resources our Wildcats deserve. This year, Foundation funds will support teacher grants, classroom resource needs, school-wide events, free family events, free after school clubs, technology and STEM resources, facility improvements, art, gym, and music needs, playground equipment, and school garden and grounds beautification.
