We hope you had a restful, or exciting break - whichever you were aiming for! It was a busy time at the school before break with Skedaddle but we don't really plan on slowing down now that we are back! We are just more energized than ever!
Speaking of the Skedaddle ... We did it! We blew past our goal and raised $47,591.56 for our school! This money stays right here at Sagamore, allowing the Foundation to continue beloved traditions and community events AND start dreaming and planning new ways to serve our kids and support our teachers. Thank you to everyone who donated, shared the link, and showed up at school to cheer on our kids! If you qualify for a donor thank you gift, you will be able to pick those up at the Character Parade on Friday October 30th. Just look for the Foundation table! We hope you enjoy showing off your Swagamore and thank you for donating so generously!!
Foundation also served our school community in the month of September by funding: freshly popped popcorn in the teacher’s lounge, snacks and coffee pods in the teacher’s lounge, a catered Wonderful Wednesday lunch for staff, organized by 5th grade parents, from Tropical Smoothie Cafe, Skedaddle prizes for students and teachers, Skedaddle grade level winner rewards, family movie night, Running Club software to help track student miles, Running Club lanyards, $1,500 worth of items from teacher Amazon Wish Lists, a hospitality cart for teachers on conference night, and a classroom mini-grant for Ms. Latimer!
